Folding Paper
by Lis on Jun.01, 2009, under Crafts
I’ve added a new category, Crafts, wherein we take a peek at the craftier side of things. I’m thinking this category will cover such things like paper crafting, mold making, needlepoint and embroidery, knitting, jewelry, maybe even painting miniatures.
To kick things off, I thought we’d take a detour over to Todd Jordan’s site, Folding Paper. Todd, aka Tojosan, is an enthusiastic origami virgin bent on learning the ins and outs of the art of origami. He is a far braver person than I, as the last origami I attempted was the Flying Pigasus, and about halfway through I turned out a crumpled, vaguely pig-like paper object. Todd attempts to navigate the arcane origami mysteries, like the difference between rabbit-ear folds and pull-out folds.

Anyway, check out Folding Paper for Tojosan’s videos showing his forays into the world of origami.

Wow. Thanks for the link and the generous compliments. Yeah, I’m still very new to the paper folding gig but I’m already enjoying it.
It can be a real mind stretcher. Also I feel like it makes you have a little bit more faith.
Thank you again for the love.

Please and please and please try the Japanese Brocade. Six sheets, 15 minutes, super awesome and super rewarding.
